slideshare.net

How was the experience of using slide-slide.net? Using slidenet was a good idea because I never knew that we can share our powerpoint presentation online. Usually I provide hard copies for powerpoint presentation.

What were the challenges? Actually using slidenet is not that difficult for me since I have experiences creating a powerpoint. the only challenging part is logging in..

What was fun? Not so fun? Everything is fun...downloading pictures, making links and so on..

If you had the chance to do it over what would you do differently? I would make my presentation more linkable and provide more pictures as well as using other ideas that might be useful to the presentation.

Any feedback? I enjoyed this activity so much...I am learning a lot about types of software as well as technologies.

ED480 'WHAT WE DID IN CLASS" 2/9/10

What we did in class today was very exciting and enjoyable. Although, the internet is kind of slow, I still enjoyed the activity. We logged into Flickr.com where we did posting of photos. I did not really have a problem because I have an account already. After downloading photos, we went ahead and use the internet site called picnik.com where we can edit what we have downloaded. Continuing on, we went ahead to www.flickr.com/badge.gne to work on the flicker flash badge. After that, we saved the code in our blogspot using html javascript. This experience is an addition to my knowledge about computers.

I think that this site (flicker) would be very useful in the classroom. Students can keep track of their journals as well as their portfolios in class. Overall, by using flickr, activities and photos can be viewed by other students.
